A resource is only as strong as the team that develops it. NeoLithica is being built by people who understand Alberta's subsurface, its capital markets, and its communities — and who have spent their careers turning resource potential into commercial reality.

Barry Caplan is NeoLithica’s President and CEO, and has spent over four decades at the center of Alberta's resource industry, working as a geologist across both the petroleum and mining sectors since earning his honours degree in Geological Sciences from McGill University. That career gave him an intimate, ground-level understanding of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin — its hydrocarbon systems, its mineral potential, and, critically, the connections between them. Having worked for both large and intermediate-sized oil and gas companies, Barry built a detailed knowledge of Alberta's subsurface that led him, as early as 2015, to identify the opportunity to recover lithium from brines hosted in the province's Devonian-age carbonate formations — years ahead of the current wave of interest in brine-hosted lithium. Today, Barry is the architect of NeoLithica’s development roadmap and its decentralized "Hub & Spoke" DLE production model — bringing the same geological rigour that has defined his entire career to Alberta's next generation of resource development.

Matt Zakus, P.Geol., is responsible for NeoLithica’s exploration and technical services. Matt has spent his career building geological models across Alberta's most complex carbonate and clastic plays, and he's brought that depth directly to NeoLithica's resource base. A Professional Geologist (APEGA) with a Geology degree from the University of Calgary, Matt leads the exploration, land management, and technical evaluation across the Company's Alberta brine assets. Before NeoLithica, Matt career includes many years working as a geologist with several oil and gas companies evaluating acquisition targets, identifying M&A targets across the Western Canadian and Williston Basins, and managing permitting and exploration programs across southern and central Alberta, and drilling execution in North Dakota.

Linda Warner is NeoLithica’s Controller and brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting and administration to the company where she manages the Company's financial controls, corporate compliance, and audit processes. Linda’s educational background is in business administration and has built a career around corporate accounting and financial reporting in the junior resource and real estate sectors — two industries known for demanding disciplined financial controls under lean operating structures. Over that career, she has served in a range of roles, including Controller, Financial Analyst, Accountant, and Property Manager, across companies spanning commercial and residential development, resource development, and property management, giving her a breadth of financial oversight experience that few controllers at early-stage resource companies can match.

Mika Husband brings a career built at the intersection of capital markets and resource development to NeoLithica in an advisory role. He earned a CFA charter and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Carleton University, giving him a rigorous foundation in financial forecasting, valuation, and analysis. Mika has capital markets experience including raising equity and debt capital, and assists the management and the board of directors with analysis and recommendations on potential transactions and strategic decisions. His entrepreneurial track record, paired with his mining-sector capital markets background, is what Mika brings to NeoLithica today.

Alberta Poetker brings deep, on-the-ground oil and gas operations experience to NeoLithica in its field operations, having spent his career working at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) — Canada's largest oil and gas company — directly in the Peace Region where NeoLithica's flagship Peace River Lithium Project is located. That background gives Albert firsthand operational knowledge of exactly the kind of field work NeoLithica's development plan depends on: well sites, production infrastructure, and the day-to-day realities of running operations across northwest Alberta's energy landscape. Just as valuable as his technical experience is the network he's built over years of working in the region. Albert's established relationships and standing in the Peace Region are a significant asset to NeoLithica as the Company continues building goodwill with the local communities, operators, and stakeholders who call the Peace Region home.

As NeoLithica advances toward commercial development, the team is growing to match. In the near future the Company plans to add a dedicated CFO, an Engineering Manager and a Commercial Lead.
